Wonderment of What’s Inside

By Shawn R. Seuferer, Certified Clinical Thermographer, Thermography of Wisconsin

I like to imagine a child’s wonderment during the Christmas season, the cherub-like expression of wide eyes and rosy cheeks peering around the corner at secrets being wrapped up in colorful paper. Each package is unique. Large or small, plain or fancy, odd or regular in shape—something is inside.

Without meaning to gush romantic, as a thermographer, I find wonderment in every thermal image taken. Like wrapped packages, each of us is like a gift. Everyone’s body, or “package,” is uniquely and wonderfully created to be large or small, plain or fancy, odd or regular in shape, and with something inside revealed via brilliant colors of the digital infrared thermal images.  Good, bad or otherwise, the colorful patterns help your body tell the story of what is going on inside. The patterns help you find answers, help you monitor progress of therapy, and help you find the care you need. This is your body’s gift of health to you.

Let us celebrate in wonderment how we are created to be unique individuals and how our bodies tell the story of what is going on inside. In celebration of wonderment and health, bring this article with you to your thermography appointment between November 1 and January 31, 2024, and receive $25.00 off any regular-priced imaging session. Share this article with a friend who comes for a screening and you both receive $25.00 off any regular-priced imaging session.
